Staff Picks?

I was discussing this with Hello Kitty just before and we both agree that there should really be a staff picks sub suggestion.

As in, video stores have 'staff picks' for good movies they want to suggest to their customers; so why can't subway do the same?
I'm not talking about creating whole new subs (i'm sure there are some rules about that even though they are franchise), but rather a 'sub of the week' with suggestions by staff of the best bread/cheese/extra toppings or filling to include.

Subway itself is made of combinations and individual creativeness, so why not let the pro's suggest one of their own?
I mean, it could even work out in their favor by suggesting extra toppings that they can charge more for. Its a way of suggestive selling.

Sub of the week would be awesome if it was discounted too! Like buy the 12 get the combo free O_O

And I reckon the customers should get to decide how much you want to pay for it.
So if the staff member is a piece of shit and they make a really shit subway, for example: seafood with extra steak strips, then you should only have to pay 10 cents to try it

totally.

I want to haggle the pick of my sub.

If its crap, I dont want to pay full price for it!
